YCR has the unique opportunity to bring together industry professionals and young Canadians in the same space.
One of our goals is to form the bridge between young Canadians and firms across Canada to foster an appreciation for careers in resource-related industries. We currently don’t have any jobs to share, but keep your eye out as this is constantly changing.
Onboarding and Engagement
Seeking out and subsequently engaging with new members is one of our top priorities at SFC. Being able to engage effectively with different SFC members across the country, all with different schedules and priorities, takes a team effort and constant communication.
Marketing and Communications
SFC needs to promote our brand in ways that make all feel welcome to share their views and become a part of a community. To do that we need effective promotion of our values through various different avenues.
Operations and Management
SFC projects require tons of behind-the-scenes communications and administrative work to complete successfully. We are looking for individuals who can help us build contacts, fundraise, and keep projects on track.
Networking and Events
SFC is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to connect students and young professionals across Canada, and there's no reason why we can't have fun while doing it!
Content Creation
SFC Content includes (but is not limited to): blog posts, op-eds/editorial pieces, and informational videos.
Resource Awareness Research
SFC Resource Awareness and Research works to dispel misinformation and promote discussion around various important topics concerning Canada's resource sectors.
